Propecia
Propecia (finasteride) is a prescription drug intended for people suffering from male pattern hair loss due to hormonal problems. If combined with other medicines it can be also prescribed to treat the unpleasant symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). In case you have any of the following side effects that are considered serious consult your health care provider as soon as possible: swelling of the lips and face, rash, hives, nipple discharge, lumps in the breast, itching, or breast pain. You can call your health care provider or make an appointment, just make sure you do not wait for too long, as some of these serious side effects may indicate you need to stop taking Propecia due to safety concerns. If you notice no results after a year of regularly using Propecia it is not likely to help you re-grow hair at all.
